Greetings!!
I am new to the blogging phenomenon but realize it is a powerful tool for sharing thougths and opinions with others in an objective and open way.
You see, I am one of those Americans whose life has been based on the premise that initiative and individual achievment are the key to realizing the "American Dream". Of late, I've found myself doubting this premise. Then I discovered the power of blogging and realized that there are many others who share my premise.
While I am an independent thinking conservative, I also see that many Americans, regardless of their political label, are able to have open and honest discussions about the issues we face, and utltimately reach agreement on many sound soulutions for confronting them. This blog offers me the opportunity to share thoughts and opinions with others to this end.
